Best Gaming PC Build Under Rs. 50,000 India- Coffee Lake Build 2018

If you are planning to build a gaming pc and are restricted to a budget of Rs. 50,000, then this PC build guide will help you build the best gaming PC under 50000 rupees. This machine will obviously perform a lot better than the Rs. 30,000 Gaming PC Build and Rs. 40,000 Gaming PC Build.
This machine can handle games like Fortnite, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of legends, Fortnite and DOTA 2 in 1080p without any hiccups. Also, AAA titles like GTA 5, PUBG should be able to hit 60 FPS easily. The primary focus of this build is to extract as much gaming performance as possible for your money, without focusing on any fancy features that you probably will never use.
All the components that you will need to assemble the best gaming PC under 50000 rupees in India are listed below along with Amazon buy links, so that you can get them delivered to your doorstep without any fuss. Also, not everyone has a PC component shop near their houses.
For comparison, I have included average price of all the components from Nehru Place, New Delhi in the end. Nehru Place is the largest wholesale and retail IT market in India. Almost all the components are Amazon fulfilled which means if any of components is faulty you can easily replace them within 10 days. There are various sellers on Amazon, so make sure to compare the prices of a specific component among different sellers before buying them.
Read the conclusion part to get a better idea of this build and some tips if you willing to spend a bit extra. So make sure you read this build guide until the end.

1.) CPU- INTEL i3 8100

Until last year CPU market was dominated by Intel, then AMD launched its Ryzen lineup of CPUs. They were an instant hit and forced Intel to step up its game. Then Intel launched its Coffe Lake line up of CPUs. These coffee lake chips have huge performance improvement over the last gen CPUs. Up till now i3 CPUs only had 2 cores with hyperthreading but now they are true quad-core chips. So theoretically, you are getting a last gen i5 for the price of an i3. It comes with a base clock of 3.6GHz. i3 8100 performs quite better than the AMD Ryzen 3 1200. But i3 8100 is locked i.e. it cannot be overclocked. Even after overclocking Ryzen 3 1200 it struggles to match the performance of Intel i3 8100. So yes by spending more you are also getting that slight bump in performance.

2.) Motherboard- GIGABYTE H310M S2H

We will go for a motherboard with budget H310 chipset. Gigabyte H310 S2H is a great budget choice it comes with all the basic features that you’ll ever need. You can buy any H310 motherboard from any reputable brands like Asus, Gigabyte, MSI or Asrock depending on pricing and availability. All these motherboards have an almost similar specification. All of them have 2 RAM slots. Which can support up to 32GB RAM. 4 SATA ports for your hard disk drives and DVD drives (if you till use them :p).

3.) RAM- Crucial 8GB DDR4 2400MHz

RAM prices have recently skyrocketed due to global memory shortage. Last year I bought Kingston 8GB DDR4 2133MHz RAM stick for Rs 2700 but now they cost a whopping Rs. 7000. We really cannot cheap out on RAM as using less than 8GB memory is not at all a good idea for gaming, as it will result in micro stuttering.
Crucial 8GB DDR4 memory stick is a great value for money option. Clocked at 2400Mhz, it is sufficient for handling even AAA titles out there. If you want more aesthetically pleasing RAM stick then you can also buy any DDR4 memory sticks from Kingston, Corsair, ADATA of G.Skill depending on pricing and availability.

4.) GPU- NVIDIA GTX 1060 3GB

Just like RAM price, GPU prices have touched new heights thanks to it’s increasing demand in cryptocurrency mining. GPU is the most important component in a gaming rig. NVIDIA GTX 1060 3GB is a great mid-level NVIDIA graphic card based on 10th generation Pascal architecture. Paired with i3 8100 , it can demolish most games in 1080p gaming on high setting at 60 FPS. You can buy any 1060 3GB model from brands like MSI, ZOTAC, ASUS, GIGABYTE, GALAX or PALIT. All of them will perform almost similar, the only difference being out of the box clock speeds.  You can manually overclock them.

5.) HDD- SEAGATE BARRACUDA 1TB

1TB is the bare minimum that you will need to store all your game library. There is nothing much to say about this HDD. Seagate has built a solid reputation for themselves in the reliability department. Being an Amazon Bestsellers you can’t go wrong with this HDD. You can also buy WD Blue 1TB HDD. It should be a no-brainer, just buy whichever one is cheaper.

OPTIONAL- WD GREEN 120GB SSD

Solid state drives can totally change your PC experience with faster boot time and faster game load time. But they are really expensive compared to a hard disk drive. So using both an SSD and a hard disk drive will give you best of both worlds. Install your OS, frequently used games and software on SSD and rest everything on HDD. But keep in mind installing games on an SSD will not increase its gaming performance in any way it will only decrease loading time by a great margin. SSD is not at all necessary for this build, but an SSD just makes your life easier.

6.) PSU- COOLERMASTER 500W

A power supply unit powers all the components in your system. If anything goes wrong with your PSU, it can seriously damage your entire rig. So cheaping out on the power supply is really a bad idea.  A 500W power supply is more than sufficient to power all the components in this rig.
The CoolerMaster 500 MASTERWATT LITE is a great and reliable choice if you’re building a gaming system with lower power demands also it is backed by a five-year warranty.

7.) CABINET- CIRCLE CC 821

CPU Cabinet in no way helps in gaming performance as long as it has better airflow, so it all comes down to personal preference. This cabinet from CIRCLE comes with 3 pre-installed LED fans along with transparent side panel. You can choose any cabinet from brands like Cooler Master, Circle, Deepcool, Corsair or Thermaltake.

At the time of writing this build guide, the above components are a great choice for building the best gaming pc build under 50000 Rupees in India. All the prices mentioned above may slightly vary from time to time.  Also on amazon prices vary among various seller, so make sure to check them too before making the final purchase. The price difference between Amazon and Nehru place is around Rs.1,500.  According to me, this price difference is justified considering the fact that Amazon can deliver your products almost anywhere and provides 10 days return policy. If you are willing to stretch your budget by Rs. 7,000 to Rs. 8,000 then upgrade your GPU to NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB. It has a higher number of CUDA cores and VRAM compared to GTX 1060 3GB resulting in better performance and future proofing.

    Hello,

Thanks for the article. I have decided on a budget pc configuration as follows:-

    CPU – Intel core i5 8400
GPU – Geforce GTX 1050 4Gb TI OC
    RAM – 8 Gb DDR4
    M/B – Gigabyte 360
Hard disk – 1TB sata seagate
    Monitor -21.5 inch dell led

Please recommend improvements if any. Also, if you could please tell me to costing of such a PC in the open market currently. Is Amazon the best place for such a purchase or local vendor. I have amazon prime account but wont be able to connect all the parts.

The above config will cost rs. 50,000+. Instead of i5 8400 go for i3 8100 and with the money saved upgrade the GPU to GTX 1060 3GB. You will get better performance. PC components sometimes cost a bit cheap from local vendors. But if you don’t have local vendors nearby you can order from Amazon.
